Job summary

After-School All-Stars Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Before School Program Leader for East LA to support safe, educational activities before school hours. Core hours are 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM, with a school-year schedule.

You will lead and assist in planning daily activities, maintain a 20:1 student ratio, and foster positive relationships with students, guardians and school staff to create a welcoming learning environment. Flexibility for evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in K-12 settings.
• Ability to work cooperatively with school district staff, parents and community leaders.
• Effective communication and sensitivity to others; respond to incidents swiftly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planning and implementing the daily before-school program.
• Maintain a 20:1 student ratio.
• Build positive relationships with youth, guardians and staff.
