Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a full-time janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas at client sites. Morning shifts, Monday through Sunday, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom maintenance, trash removal, window cleaning, and carpet spot cleaning. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to follow written instructions; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or up to 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweep, mop, scrub or vacuum.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and objects.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste, using a compactor if needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in extractions and shampooing.
