Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Easton, MA is seeking a Group Leader to assist the Site Coordinator in supervising the school age program and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 6 months school age experience or more.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certificates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement curriculum with Site Coordinator guidance.
• Arrange appearance, decor and environment of the school age room.
• Maintain proper behavior of all children at all times.
• Adhere to OCCS regulations and Old Colony Y policies.
• Assist in preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks for assigned children.
• Assist with field trips, newsletters, and activity plans while ensuring safety.
• Complete paperwork including accident/incident forms and observations.
