Job summary

The TJ Maxx Store in Pottstown, PA, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., seeks a customer-focused associate to deliver an outstanding shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with purchases, and keep the store clean and organized while following loss prevention and merchandising standards.

Installations of credit and loyalty programs, multi-tasking across areas, and adapting to schedule changes are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Available a 7am-1pm time frame.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising standards and procedures.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor per procedures.
• Participates in store recovery and maintains store cleanliness.
• Supports labor laws and loss prevention policies.
• Assists in safety initiatives and maintains a safe environment.
