An established industry player is seeking a Morning Receptionist to manage front desk operations and assist with various administrative tasks. This role involves answering phones, filing, and supporting staff while providing excellent customer service to students and visitors. Hours per week: Approximately 25 hours
Pay Rate: $11.75 per hour
Filing, answering the phone, running errands, staffing the front desk and handling student traffic, assisting secretary when needed, copying, assisting other department staff as needed and other miscellaneous assignments. The work hours are Monday through Friday and will cover the morning hours beginning at approximately 7:30 am and ending at approximately 12:30 pm. Preference for this position will be given to students with a work study.
Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction, operating, activating, using, preparing, inspecting, placing, detecting, or positioning. Expressing or exchanging ideas accurately or quickly. Ability to receive detailed information with or without assistance.
Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.
Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading. Required to have visual acuity to perform activities such as operating machines where the job is at or within arm’s reach.
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
