Job summary

The Fresh Market Virginia Beach is seeking a Production Manager to lead the department, ensuring the best products and a first-class guest experience through efficient, safety-driven operations. You will guide the team, set schedules, and uphold standards across Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Producedepartments.

This role requires strong leadership, hands-on coaching, and a passion for excellence in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on timely production and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and assist all functions of the Production department and demonstrate excellence for your team and guests.
• Manage production for key items to support Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Producedepartments.
• Create and manage team schedules to align production with guest shopping hours.
• Ensure department adherence to safety requirements and food safety policies.
