Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Production Manager in our Miami-area store to lead the Production department and oversee early-morning operations, ensuring the best products and guest experiences. You will manage a team, coordinate with Deli, Bakery, Meat-Seafood, and Produce, and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will coach staff, optimize schedules, and drive efficiency while maintaining high standards for product quality and guest service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and support all functions of the Production department.
• Oversee production for items supporting Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce.
• Receive/stock goods following rotation standards; replenish inventory.
• Manage product quality to minimize shrink and damage.
• Lead early-morning production and training to ensure service excellence.
• Provide coaching and development to team members.
• Create and manage team schedules aligned to guest shopping hours.
• Ensure safety and food safety compliance per policy and law.
