Thistle in Vacaville, CA is seeking an Associate, Cook to execute daily production activities on the kitchen floor in a high-volume environment. You will work under the Culinary Supervisor to prepare and assemble meals following recipes and safety standards.

This role supports multiple production areas, maintains equipment, logs temperatures and batch records, manages inventory according to FIFO/FEFO, and collaborates with teams to ensure consistent quality and on-time meals.

• Execute daily food preparation and production activities per recipes and schedules.
• Maintain quality, food safety, and operational efficiency across all production areas.
• Operate ovens, combi-ovens, tilt skillets, steam kettles, blixers, mixers, and other equipment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions to culinary leadership.
• Ensure GMPs, food safety regulations, and company policies are followed.
• Prepare workstations with ingredients, tools, and equipment for flow.
• Monitor temperature logs, batch records, sanitation logs, and other docs.
• Maintain allergen management, FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
• Label and trace meal components with quantities and dates.
• Keep stations clean; manage sanitation solutions and hygiene.
• Stay updated on safety policies and new procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain standards.
• Perform additional duties to support kitchen and production.
