Thistle is seeking an Associate, Cook to execute daily production in a high-volume kitchen. You will follow recipes, support quality standards, and help maintain food safety across prep, hotline, staging, and dish areas.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in large kitchens, familiarity with HACCP, and the ability to read recipes precisely. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and strict adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years in a large-scale, high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with batch cooking in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety; ServSafe preferred.
• Ability to read, follow and execute recipes precisely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency across Prep, Blixer, Hotline and Staging.
• Adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Execute daily food preparation and production activities.
• Support leadership in maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including ovens, blixers, mixers.
• Identify and escalate equipment issues to leadership.
• Maintain GMPs and sanitation standards.
• Document temperature logs, batch records, and sanitation logs.
• Label and trace meal components with accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain standards.
