Job summary

Thistle is seeking an Associate, Dishwasher at our Vacaville facility to support the kitchen team on the production floor. You will wash wares and equipment, maintain a clean dish room, and ensure all sanitation protocols are followed.

The role reports to the Culinary Supervisor and requires attention to safety, GMP guidelines, and flexibility to work morning shifts. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred; High school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to operate large-scale dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
• Experience in high-volume dishwashing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the dish room.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machine.
• Wash dishes using a manual three compartment sink process.
• Follow the direction of the culinary leadership team to keep materials and equipment cleaned as quickly as possible so materials are ready to be used when needed.
• Appropriately store and manage all equipment that goes through the dish room.
• Follow GMP, safety and COVID safety guidelines.
• Understand and communicate allergen-free materials handling and storage.
• Complete dishwashing logs, sanitation tracking, and temperature checks; report to culinary manager on duty.
