Guckenheimer Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Prep Production Cook to produce visually appealing and tasty foods up to Guckenheimer standards.

You will prepare, season and cook soups, meats, vegetables and desserts, and serve customers during meals under the direction of the Cook or Chef. The role requires ability to use standard kitchen equipment safely, knowledge of food preparation processes, and adherence to ServSafe guidelines.

Competenze

• Must safely use standard kitchen equipment and knives.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs.
• Ability to coordinate with the chef and follow directions.
• Food cost control methods and associated practices.
• ServSafe certification or City/State Food Handler Card.

• Season and cook food according to recipes and experience.
• Observe and test foods to determine doneness and monitor temperatures; adjust seasoning.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; assist during rush periods.
