Job summary

ISS Guckenheimer in Poway, CA is seeking a Cook to prepare and fulfill meals across breakfast, lunch, dinner and catered events, following production sheets and recipes. The role operates 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year professional cooking experience or education equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques.
• Follow kitchen safety, sanitation and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clock in and out for workday and breaks.
• Provide highest quality of service according to ISS/Guckenheimer standards.
• Prepare food per recipes and production sheets.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment; follow safety rules.
• Notify management of ingredient discrepancies, safety or equipment issues.
• Attend all meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
