The Maxx Fitness Clubzz is seeking a friendly front desk associate to deliver superior member service each morning. You will open the club, greet members and guests, check in members, handle tours, and manage front desk duties with a positive, energetic approach.

You will answer phones, assist with sign-ups, maintain club cleanliness, and address member questions promptly. A HS diploma and punctuality are required; fitness enthusiasm is a plus.

Job Summary

The Morning Opener will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members and guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Opening the club on time daily.
• Arriving at 4:45a.m. to walk through the club and Open at 5:00a.m. and work until 11:00am
• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service by saying hello and goodbye to each member.
• Handle all front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in an upbeat friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check in all members into the system.
  • New member sign-up.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Count money in register
  • Learn and understand our computer operating system
  • Facilitate needed updates to member's accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or General Manager as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service background preferred.

• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Functions

• Must have reliable transportation to be at Facility Monday-Friday
• Ability to work in a group or team setting;
• Face To Face Retail Customer Service experience preferred;
• The ability to stand/work on your feet
• The ability to be energetic and outgoing at all times;The ability to handle weights of up to 50lbs
