Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Brighton, MI is seeking a Freight Handler on the morning receiving team with a starting pay of $18.60 per hour. The role involves unloading pallets, organizing inbound freight, and ensuring pallet integrity in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets of product from trailers and break down product for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets and account for pallet integrity.
• Ensure damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into stock.
• Support team by maintaining accurate pallet configurations and orderly receiving.
