Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler for our Brighton, MI distribution center. You’ll work Sundays through Thursdays, starting at 6:50 PM, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds, and receiving comprehensive training with no prior experience required. Starting pay is 20.13 per hour plus a 1.00 shift incentive, with two raises in your first year.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a 2nd shift warehouse environment on the Shipping Team.
• Lift up to 100 pounds as part of daily duties and participate in training to learn processes.
• Start wage is $20.13 per hour plus a $1.00 shift incentive; wages scale with production and efficiency.
