Job summary

Eventide Lincoln is seeking a part-time Culinary Assistant / Server for morning shifts from 6:00 to 10:00 AM in Lincoln, NE. The role includes food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

The ideal candidate will have at least 16 years old, strong English communication, and basic food safety experience. A Food Handler Permit and vaccination requirements apply for Eventide campuses in Lancaster County.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English, including medical terminology related to the job.
• Must meet Eventide vaccination requirements.
• Six months of sanitation or food prep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and serve meals following diet orders.
• Operate dish machine; ensure dishes are cleaned, sanitized, dried and stored.
• Document food production, quality, and safety records.
• Procure, store, date and rotate food properly.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and use kitchen equipment.
• Assist with cleaning tasks in the galley kitchen.
• Provide outstanding customer service during guest interactions.
