Eventide in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server to work 4:30p - 9p. This schedule includes a weekend and holiday rotation.
The Culinary Assistant is responsible for assisting in food preparation, upholding cleaning and sanitary standards, and managing kitchen inventory and supplies.
Essential Functions
Assists with serving meals following diet orders and prepares food to order in dining room as requested by Senior/client.
Responsible for operating dish machine to ensure dishes and silverware are cleaned and sanitized, dried and put away in a timely manner.
Ensures accurate and timely documentation related to food production, quality, and food safety.
Ensures food and products are properly acquired, stored, dated and rotated.
Follows recipes according to appropriate safe food handling procedures, using food service equipment.
Handle trash and sweep and mop galley kitchen floor.
Procures food from storage areas, freezers, and refrigerators.
Provides outstanding customer service during guest interactions.

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $15-16.80 per hour for Culinary Assistants based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
