Job summary

Eventide Lincoln in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server to work 6a-2:30p, including weekend and holiday rotation. This role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining sanitation, and managing kitchen inventory.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication, the ability to lift 32 pounds, and a high school diploma (or equivalent). Six months of sanitation/food prep experience and a Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit are preferred; vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write and understand English, including related terminology.
• Six months of sanitation/food preparation experience preferred.
• Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required for Eventide campuses in Lancaster County.
• Must meet Eventide vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and follow diet orders as requested.
• Operate dish machine and ensure dishes are cleaned and sanitized promptly.
• Document food production, quality and safety accurately.
• Procure, store and rotate food from storage areas and coolers.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and use kitchen equipment correctly.
• Provide outstanding customer service during guest interactions.
