Job summary

Pizza Inn is seeking an opening cook in Jonesboro, AR. You will learn and perform the duties of a pizza maker, including rolling dough, preparing stuffed crust pizzas, and maintaining a clean work area. You will follow FIFO and help in other restaurant tasks as needed.

Typical duties include completing opening or closing checklists, ensuring food quality, and working mornings and weekends. The position pays $12.00 per hour in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a food preparation position preferred.
• Must be able to work mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform duties of a pizza maker.
• Roll Italian, Thin and House Pan dough; prepare stuffed crust pizzas.
• Maintain clean and organized dough-rolling area; clean and assemble dough roller.
• Adhere to food quality standards ( freshness, temperature, taste, appearance ) and FIFO rotation.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant when needed; complete opening/closing checklists.

As an opening cook for Pizza Inn, you will be responsible for learning the tasks associated with all of the following positions.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Able to fulfill job descriptions of pizza maker
• Completes and is certified in the Dough Master Program.
• Able to roll Italian, Thin and House Pan dough.
• Able to prepare stuffed crust pizza.
• Keeps dough-rolling area clean and organized.
• Able to take apart, clean and assemble the dough roller.
• Adheres to food quality standards (freshness, temperature, taste, appearance)Understands FIFO rotation
• Assists in other areas of restaurant when needed.
• Responsible for completing opening and/or closing checklists.
• Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

Requirements

Physical Demands

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors and employees. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
