Job summary

WellQuest of Elk Grove in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a full-time Caregiver to provide personal assistance and daily care for residents. You will support ADLs, assist with meals, and promote independence under supervision of the Health Services Director.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to communicate in English. Prior health care exposure is preferred. This role is located at a WellQuest Living community and involves PM shift duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform ADL tasks including bathing, grooming, hygiene.
• Strong oral and written communication with residents.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as directed.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Assist transfer in/out of bed or wheelchair using safe techniques.
• Aid with mealtime service, tray delivery, and clean-up.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and household tasks.
