Job summary

WellQuest Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide personal assistance and routine daily care for residents, following the Resident Care Profile and instruction from Health Services/Executive Directors. You will help residents with ADLs, encourage participation in activities, and safeguard their safety and privacy.

Responsibilities include timely response to needs, assisting with daily activities and ensuring sign-off sheets are completed.

Qualifications

• Must have criminal record clearance.
• Must attend required amount of training programs each year.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing and hair care.
• Provide personal assistance and routine daily care to residents to enhance independence and quality of life.
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Support Activities Department staff in carrying out planned activities and assist residents in preparing for activities.
