Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a Morning Care Supervisor to provide a safe, welcoming environment for students before the school day begins.

You will supervise students, greet families, encourage positive behavior, and help with age‑appropriate activities and transitions to the classroom. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work early morning hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise groups of children in a calm, positive manner.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with children in school, daycare, church, or similar settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety and well‑being of students during morning care hours.
• Greet students and families in a warm, professional manner each morning.
• Monitor interactions and encourage respectful, inclusive behavior.
• Organize age‑appropriate activities (reading, drawing, puzzles, quiet games).
• Maintain a calm, structured environment and assist with transitions to the school day.
