Job summary

St. Patrick School is seeking a dependable Morning Extended Care Attendant to help start the school day with a safe, welcoming environment. You will be the first face students see each morning, guiding them as they arrive and preparing for their day.

Responsibilities include supervising morning activities, tracking attendance, and maintaining clear communication with parents and staff. This is a part-time, weekday role with a 7:00 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children in childcare, school, or similar settings preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.
• Must be able to clear required state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Facility prep: unlock, set up, and prepare the morning care area before children arrive.
• Welcome & drop-off: greet children and parents and ensure a smooth check-in process.
• Morning supervision: monitor students during morning activities and breakfast.
• Attendance tracking: maintain daily attendance records and sign-in logs.
• Communication: relay important notes to teachers/administration during drop-off.
