Job summary

Great Lakes Management seeks a compassionate Resident Assistant in Golden Valley, MN at Global Pointe Senior Living. This part-time role offers morning shifts (6am–2pm or 6am–10am) with every other weekend, supporting residents in daily living and well-being.

You will assist with ADLs, provide emotional support, help with dining and activities, document daily care, and escalate changes to the RN and case manager.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant or CNA (preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
