Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Spokane is seeking a motivated breakfast attendant to provide an exceptional dining experience. In this role, you'll set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, deliver orders, and ensure cleanliness. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, a high school diploma, and experience in food service. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $18 hourly, with benefits including medical coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Just in time for our SUMMER BONUS program! If you are a wake up early and get things going type of person, we want you!! We're looking for a summertime PT/FT (approx 30‑40 hrs. a week) breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that hot items are cooked and ready, as well as fresh fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well‑stocked. Cleaning the breakfast area after breakfast is closed is required, so a happy cleaner is necessary as well. Additional responsibilities include refilling guests’ cups and glasses as needed, removing used dishes, and cleaning tables. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role. • Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hours
• Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
• Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures
• Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Experience working in food service is preferred
