Job summary

CAICI International Inc. is seeking an experienced Avionics and Flight Software Test Facility Software Integration Engineer to support NASA’s Moon Base Flight Software Integration Laboratory at Johnson Space Center.

You will build software emulators, perform integration and verification, and collaborate with multiple NASA programs across various teams. The role requires strong C programming skills, hands-on experience with safety-critical software, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline.
• 3+ years in software development for safety-critical systems.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Experience in software and hardware integration for safety-critical software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop software emulators for lunar assets.
• Perform software integration, test, and verification.
• Integrate hardware components as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors across NASA programs.
• Ensure adherence to JSC standard software process practices.
