Job summary

The role requires building emulators, performing integration and verification, and coordinating with NASA teams. The ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant engineering field, 3+ years in safety-critical software, strong C skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• BS in Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Computer or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines required.
• Three+ years of experience in software development for safety-critical software; more is valued.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Experience in software and hardware integration for safety-critical software.

Responsibilities

• Develop software emulators for lunar assets.
• Perform software integration, test, and verification.
• Integrate hardware components, as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors across multiple NASA programs and projects.
• Ensure adherence to JSC standard software process practices.
