Job summary

CyberTeck Academy is seeking a part-time, onsite teacher for a Fall 2026 paid internship. You will travel to schools, set up laptops for 8–12 students, and teach Minecraft programming, game design, animation, and Lego robotics. No prior experience required; paid training provided and weekday availability preferred.

Shifts run 2.5–5 hours with some 1:00–6:00pm windows; candidates must own a vehicle to transport equipment. This is a seasonal, school-year opportunity in the Washington DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Familiar with video games.
• Ability to teach children aged 5–14.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
• Bonus: basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or 3D modeling experience.
• Bonus: prior child-care, teaching and/or tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up on time – we are responsible for children.
• Set up laptops and related equipment for 8–12 children.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
• Ensure students leave with appropriate supervision and handoffs.
