Job summary

CyberTeck Academy is seeking a part-time paid internship/seasonal contract role as an Onsite Teacher for Fall 2026 in Laurel, Maryland. No prior teaching experience is required; paid training and curricula are provided.

Work involves teaching Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and Lego Robotics to students in supported VA/MD/DC counties. Shifts are 2.5–5 hours, and positions require being available at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• Familiar with video games or computer games.
• Enjoys teaching kids aged 5–14.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
• College students or part-time job seekers welcome; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up on time because we care for children.
• Set up laptops and equipment for 8–12 students.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics.
• Ensure students leave safely with parents or staff.
