Job summary

CyberTeck Academy is seeking a part-time, paid internship teacher for Fall 2026 to work at multiple schools in MD/DC/VA. The role trains you first, then you teach after summer, with shifts typically in the afternoon after school hours. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Classes cover Minecraft programming, game design, animation, and Lego robotics. Transportation of company laptops is required, and a vehicle is mandatory for this role.

Qualifications

• Familiar with video and/or computer games.
• Enjoys working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of age.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well independently.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and sex offender background check.
• Plus but not required - some experience with basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or any 3D modeling software.
• Plus but not required - some child-care, teaching and/or tutoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment from our local facility and travel to assigned school.
• Show up ON TIME - we are responsible for children.
• Set up laptops and related equipment for 8-12 children.
• Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
• Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
