Job summary

Montessori Kids Universe in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to lead daily activities and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons. You will support children’s social and educational growth while ensuring compliance with Illinois DCFS regulations and building strong family relationships.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher duties in a preschool setting must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social and educational development.
• Maintain compliance with Illinois DCFS regulations.
• Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.

Education

60 semester hours of college credit from an accredited university, including 6 semester hours directly related to child care/development

30 semester hours of college credit plus 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center, including 6 semester hours in child care/development

A valid Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or a Gateways to Opportunity Level 3 or higher Credential
