Kïdo is expanding in Chicago and seeks a Lead Early Childhood Teacher for Infant, Toddler, or Twos classrooms. You will implement the curriculum, manage a welcoming classroom, and communicate with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience teaching in a licensed preschool, daycare, or childcare setting.
• Age 19+ to meet state licensing requirements for lead roles.
• Lead Teacher Qualified per Illinois DCFS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences using Kïdo’s curriculum.
• Provide responsive child care in a safe, nurturing preschool classroom.
• Engage families with daily updates, photos, and parent–teacher conversations.
• Foster an inspiring learning environment where children meet developmental milestones.
• Collaborate closely with assistant teachers and staff as part of a supporting team.
