In this role you will lead daily activities, implement age-appropriate lesson plans, support children's development, ensure compliance with Illinois DCFS regulations, and build strong relationships with families and fellow educators. The position offers hourly pay of $23.00, paid holidays, PTO, and opportunities for Montessori

Qualifications

• Meet one of the Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualification options.
• 60 sem. hours of college credit with 6 hours in child care/development.
• 30 sem. hours plus 1 year in licensed childcare (6 hours in child care/development).
• CDA Credential or Gateways to Opportunity Level 3 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities for preschoolers.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social and educational development.
• Maintain compliance with Illinois DCFS regulations.
• Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.

Education

60 sem. hours college cred with 6 in child care/development

30 sem. hours plus 1 year licensed childcare center exp (6 hours in child care)
