Job summary

Lake Country School Montessori seeks a Children's House Co-Guide to co-lead a Montessori classroom in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves maintaining the prepared environment, delivering Montessori presentations, and documenting each child's progress in partnership with another Co-Guide.

You will observe and tailor activities to individual needs, communicate with families, and participate in staff meetings and development opportunities. Minnesota DHS background clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Montessori credential at the primary/Children's House level (AMI or AMS).
• Ability to co-teach and share lesson responsibility with a Co-Guide.
• Experience observing and recording child progress to tailor environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a complete, orderly, inclusive classroom environment.
• Give precise Montessori presentations and plan lessons around each child's needs.
• Observe consistently using Transparent Classroom and adapt the environment accordingly.
• Communicate with families and participate in meetings and school activities.
