Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Hard Surface Territory Manager for Montana to grow profitability and market share through strong customer relationships, market programs and sample placement. The role requires daily sales calls, product presentations, and data-driven sales planning across dealers, designers, and end-users.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and proven sales experience, with the ability to lift heavy displays and travel within the state.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Must use a laptop with Microsoft Windows and MS Office.
• Candidates must be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel within Montana and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Build and install display racks and marketing materials.
• Prospect for viable new accounts and monitor market conditions in territory.
• Prepare business transaction reports and sales forecasts.
• Analyze sales stats to assist dealers in promoting products.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses within budget.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote Shaw Floors residential products (A/T and Philly Commercial).
