Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking a Monoshell Operator to build a ceramic mold around a completed wax assembly and remove the wax once the mold is complete.

This position, in the Hampton Structural Castings group, offers 2nd shift hours (Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm) with training on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm). An hourly shift premium of $1.00/hour applies when on an off shift.

Qualifications

• Resume and two professional references required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of continuous experience or training.
• Availability for all shifts including weekends; overtime may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mixing equipment, slurry pots, and related tools.
• Prepare and set up molds for dipping or dewax processing.
• Read measuring gauges and document data as required.
• Adjust process variables based on measurements and instructions.
• Dispose slurry ingredients and process materials per procedures.
• Inspect, document, and rework molds for damage or deviations.
