Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Shell Production Operator to support the production of high-quality ceramic investment casting molds by performing dewaxing, burnout, mold preparation, and furnace operations. This role is responsible for safely preparing molds for downstream foundry processes while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.

This position offers a 2nd shift with a $2.00 shift differential, and the team works in a high-temperature manufacturing environment with a strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Basic math skills and ability to record production data and weights.

Responsibilities

• Remove molds from drying areas and prepare them for dewaxing operations.
• Load and unload molds from steam autoclaves and burnout furnaces.
• Operate autoclave and furnace cycles according to engineering instructions and standard work procedures.
• Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper usage.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with 5S and plant standards.
