Job summary

Elanco Animal Health Incorporated is seeking a TSMS Scientist in Elwood, KS to provide operational and technical support for monoclonal antibody manufacturing. You will participate in tech transfer, scale-up, process optimization, validation and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.

We value hands-on experience with chromatography, bioreactor operation, and TFF, plus collaboration across Manufacturing, Development, and Quality teams to ensure product quality and process control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of biotech/pharma industry experience with monoclonal antibodies.
• Hands-on chromatography, Protein A or affinity chromatography experience.
• Experience with bioreactor operation and tangential flow filtration (TFF).
• Knowledge of tech transfer, validation, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Support upstream and/or downstream manufacturing processes for biologics (e.g., mammalian cell culture, purification).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Development, and Quality on studies, investigations, validation and tech transfer.
• Provide on-floor support during manufacturing campaigns, including troubleshooting and deviations.
• Use data analysis tools to improve process understanding and control.
• Author and review technical documents (batch records, SOPs, risk assessments, etc.).
• Assist in implementing changes through the change control system.
