Regional Account Executive (2 Openings)

Position 1: Regional Account Executive - West Texas, Western Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Regional Account Executive to drive revenue growth within the West Texas, Western Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado territories. This role involves identifying and securing new clients within the oil and gas sector, focusing on operators of mature wells producing between 0-200 barrels per day. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of oil and gas production, a proven sales record, and the entrepreneurial drive to succeed in a startup environment. Technical aptitude to communicate our IoT-based monitoring and automation solutions effectively is essential.

Position 2: Regional Account Executive - East Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Kansas, and Louisiana

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Account Executive to lead revenue efforts in the East Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Kansas, and Louisiana territories. The focus is on acquiring new clients in the oil and gas industry, specifically operators of mature wells producing between 0-200 barrels per day. The candidate should have a solid understanding of oil and gas production practices, a successful sales history, and the initiative to excel in a startup environment. Strong technical understanding is necessary to communicate the benefits of our IoT-based solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
  2. Identify and prospect operators of mature (0-200 bpd) oil and gas wells.
  3. Leverage and expand your network within the oil and gas industry, focusing on private equity connections.
  4. Assess client operational challenges related to cost, labor, and infrastructure to propose solutions.
  5. Communicate the value of our low-cost, low-power monitoring and automation systems for visibility, control, and cost reduction.
  6. Explain technical aspects of our gateway and IoT devices, highlighting ease of installation.
  7. Demonstrate financial and efficiency benefits of our solutions.
  8. Manage the entire sales process from initial engagement to onboarding.
  9. Collaborate with Lead Generation and internal teams for support.
  10. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  11. Represent the company at industry events.
  12. Build strong, lasting client relationships and contribute to strategic growth.
Qualifications:
  • Proven sales experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude with IoT products.
  • Established network within the oil and gas production sector.
  • Background in oil/gas production, seals, chemicals, wellheads, or service lines preferred.
  • Connections within private equity are advantageous.
  • Understanding of economic drivers in oil and gas, focusing on cost reduction and maximizing returns.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive sales approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools.
Compensation:

Competitive base salary based on experience and network, plus performance-based commissions. Salary expectations can be flexible depending on the candidate's network and experience.

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the CEO, with daily interaction with the CEO, Operations, and Marketing teams.
