Job Description: Strategic Account Executive at Xometry

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities. Our digital marketplace provides manufacturers with essential resources for growth and enables Fortune 1000 buyers to access global manufacturing capacity.

The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new business from existing enterprise customers. This includes understanding their needs from prototype parts to production, demonstrating the value of our offerings, and expanding our share of business.

This role suits achievement-oriented candidates who are innovative, collaborative, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be a vital part of the sales team, engaging daily with teammates, internal stakeholders, and customers, while developing a deep understanding of the low-volume manufacturing industry in America.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sell technical products and services to Fortune 500 customers
  2. Drive strategic revenue growth with enterprise clients
  3. Build relationships with engineering, program management, procurement, and executive teams
  4. Arrange sales meetings with company executives and engineers
  5. Qualify potential leads
  6. Collaborate with technical staff to meet customer needs
  7. Accurately manage data within CRM systems
  8. Represent the company professionally
  9. Propose solutions and negotiate contracts
  10. Participate in training and mentoring programs
  11. Align with company goals to enhance performance
  12. Adhere to quality and safety policies
Qualifications:
  1. 7+ years of sales experience in a closing role
  2. 2+ years selling technical products/services in manufacturing
  3. 3+ years selling to Fortune 500 companies
  4. Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering preferred
  5. Ability to travel up to 30%
  6. Strong presentation skills, both in-person and virtual
  7. Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting
  8. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  9. Skills in prospecting and sales planning
  10. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  12. Bachelor's degree required
