Job summary

Mercy South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Monitoring Technician to provide continuous surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and promptly notify RNs of rhythm changes. The role supports a collaborative team and aligns with Mercy's mission and service standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of monitor tech coursework with a passing score, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. CRAT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D. and/or current Mercy coworker.
• Monitor tech course completion and/or passing score of 85% on monitor tech competency exam.
• Basic computer skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential. Excellent communication skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure is a must.
• Experience preferred but not mandatory.
• CRAT certification preferred.
