Job summary

Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, UT seeks a Monitor Tech for PRN shifts. The role focuses on vital surveillance, rapid response, and accurate reporting to nursing staff to support patient care.

The Monitor Tech will perform continuous monitor surveillance, identify arrhythmias, and ensure equipment is functioning properly, while following Lifepoint policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
• Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings to nursing staff.
• Tests equipment for proper working order and reports issues to supervisor.
• Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all policies.

Required Skills
