Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing department goals aligned to organizational strategy.
• Manages staffing including performance management, scheduling, payroll, and development.
• Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations; justifies needs for systems/equipment.
• Coordinates patient care with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments; may provide patient care when necessary.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and protocols; ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Oversees hiring, training, performance reviews and corrective actions for staff.

How You'll Contribute

An Imaging Manager who excels in this role manages the daily operations of the department to meet organizational objectives. Additional responsibilities include:

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies and purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
