Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • American Heart Association certification in BLS required.
  • Basic EKG or arrhythmia recognition course required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Monitor Technician duties including documentation and communication of cardiac telemetry.
  • Assume responsibility for recognizing and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.

This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule.

Job Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Able to perform detailed assignments and work under pressure.
  • Possesses communication skills in order to relate to patients, hospital staff, physicians, and others.
  • American Heart Association certification in BLS required.
  • Basic EKG or arrhythmia recognition course required.
  • Computer experience preferred.
