Nelnet, Inc. is seeking a Database Administrator with a focus on MongoDB Atlas to manage and optimize our MongoDB deployments across production and development environments. The role emphasizes performance tuning, security, and reliability within a cloud-first data platform.

The successful candidate will collaborate with development and Cloud Operations teams, participate in incident response, and contribute to platform improvements while expanding expertise in NoSQL technologies.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology or a related field.
Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Mansioni

Supports day-to-day administration and health of MongoDB Atlas across production, test and preview environments.
Monitors alerts and performance metrics.
Reviews cluster health and resource utilization.
Assists with cluster performance and capacity management.
Supports backup and restore activities.
