Job summary

Yelp seeks a VP of Product Management, Monetization to lead strategy and execution for monetization across Yelp’s platform, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You’ll unify cross-functional teams to grow ad revenue while maintaining a delightful user experience, and shape how advertisers and consumers interact across Yelp’s local marketplace.

This senior, player-coach role focuses on auction-based ad systems, ad load strategies, reporting, and measurement, with remote US-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and launching innovative Ad products or monetization features at scale, within auction-based systems.
• Experience with revenue-generating products and cross-functional leadership at the executive level.
• Strategic, hands-on product leadership with ability to mentor PMs.

Responsibilities

• Unify PM, Eng, Operations, and GTM under a single monetization vision and roadmap.
• Set long-term monetization strategy aligned with revenue and experience goals.
• Lead and develop PMs, build partnerships across Eng, Design, Data Science, and Revenue.
• Prioritize investments with clear business cases balancing short-term revenue and long-term trust.
• Drive ad products, delivery, reporting, and bidding teams; optimize sponsored results.
