Job summary

Samsara, a pioneer in Connected Operations Cloud, seeks a Senior Product Manager to build the monetization platform powering its next generation of usage-based products. You will package, meter, rate, and provision offerings from beta to GA.

You’ll own time to market and margin, define pricing for consumption and outcomes, and reveal unit economics at decision points across fleet, equipment, and AI products. This is a remote role for US residents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience shipping products used by external customers.
• Experience owning a business or product metric with measurable impact.
• Experience building platform or infrastructure products used by multiple teams.
• Technical depth sufficient for engineers to see architectural trade-offs.
• Comfort with unit economics, cost to serve, and gross margin impact.
• Executive-level communication with leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the monetization platform from beta to general availability: packaging, entitlements, metering, rating, provisioning.
• Own time to market and margin; set targets and improve them launch after launch.
• Define pricing for consumption and outcomes, including agent usage and API access.
• Make unit economics visible at decision points for pricing strategies.
• Build primitives once to avoid reinventing metering or entitlement logic.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, and Revenue Systems to keep billing and reporting accurate.
