Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in this state.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to age-related needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team to develop plans of care.
• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants per rules and guidelines.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Meet with residents or family members and report problems to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs and procedures for quality care.
