Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor for a part-time shift from 7am to 7pm in Rhode Island. The role provides clinical leadership to nursing staff, ensuring safe, compassionate, and compliant resident care with a focus on teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, guiding staff, coordinating care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

• Oversee daily nursing operations to promote safe, effective, and person-centered care delivery.
• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support as needed.

• Support accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to clinical concerns and assist in resolving issues involving residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support facility-wide clinical goals.

Pay: $38-$60 an hour

Qualifications for Nurse Supervisor:

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home, or other healthcare setting, with at least one (1) to two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care centers.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide, support, and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability and high standards of care.
