Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Molecular Pathology Technologist to join the Pathology department for evening shifts (1pm–9:30pm). This full-time, on-site role supports patient care by performing a range of laboratory tests, operating instruments, and ensuring QC and accurate data reporting.

The candidate will maintain compliance with standards, participate in ongoing competency activities, and contribute to team workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related science meeting regulatory requirements to be Clinical Laboratory Testing Personnel
• 0+ years of experience
• Preferred: Certified MLS or MLT through national certifying agency

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate instruments; perform checks, calibrations, preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting from written guidelines.
• Perform and report Quality Control Procedures. Identify Q.C. failures.
• Prepare sample for analysis. Store and preserve specimen.
